Sue “Coach” Koch is an experienced life and career transition coach. She leads a variety of seminars, and she coaches individuals and business leaders in how to create balanced and richly satisfying lives. Her background includes a successful and rewarding career in project and training management. Her daunting journey through a mid-life career transition, combined with an extensive coaching background, gives her an in-depth insight into how her clients can face any transition with curiosity, courage, confidence and the power of knowing their purposes.

Sue’s intention is to help her clients lead more integrated and balanced lives. This ranges from assisting them to develop a variety of skills for facilitating their job searches, to developing a strong sense of entrepreneurship and career ownership, to discovering what they are passionate about, thereby creating a livelihood as opposed to a job. She helps her clients develop congruency in their lives by involving not only their minds, but also by engaging their energy, creativity, hearts, and spirits in the process.

Membership in Coachville and the International Association of Coaches has provided her with extensive training in the principles of coaching. Through training, solid experience, curiosity, and a genuine love for people, Sue has developed a compassionate and fun-loving approach to coaching.

Sue created or co-created the following seminars being offered by Access the Edge:

Testimonials:

During EDD’s (Employment Development Department), Experience Unlimited Reverse Job Fair in 2003, Sue had the privilege of speaking to job seekers about how to effectively manage the tricky waters of career transition. Here’s what they had to say:

“The topic of career in transition was relevant to our members. It was apparent by every seat being filled and with standing room only that your workshop certainly captured your audience’s undivided attention. The phases of transition provided those who are going through transition a comforting sense of “not being alone”. We thank you for taking time to attend and share your experience and expertise. Through your speaking, much encouragement and inspiration has been imparted to our job-seeking professionals.” ~Judy H., EU Specialist

"Thank you so much for your coaching and mentoring. It made all the difference in getting me back on track and focused on moving forward in a positive and productive way. My first goal of finding a job was accomplished much faster than I expected, and I am moving right along with my other goals. With your support, I will get there without losing track of what is important to me." ~Heike H., Corporate Vice-President

“I see great strength in Sue and a huge capacity for loving people. She’s never afraid to tell the truth as she sees it. And I love her openness to reexamine what’s true…so she can grow and show others possibilities for growth. I admire her commitment to making a difference in the world.” ~Steve K.

“Prior to coaching, I was in the habit of “beating myself up” over what I perceived as my weaknesses, but with Sue’s coaching, I saw that it doesn’t resolve anything. The result of her great coaching is a new found inner peace, contentment, and recognition of my power. I make a difference in my communities, I’ve learned to really listen to what people are saying, and I have learned to coach in return. Do you know what kind of contribution you are to others? Sue helps you realize it!” ~Tina B., Accounting Mgr.

“You have this amazing ability to show me things at just the right time, in just the right way, and for that I am so grateful. I realized that I was really not speaking from a place of power. Your words were so perfect, so insightful, that I was able to clearly see the next step and take action powerfully.” Jeff G., Business Owner

“Thank you. I am inspired, joyful, and ready to create my life as I, and only I, know I can do. You helped me to clearly see my beauty and my strength through your excellent example.” ~Helen

“The coaching experience gave me much more than I expected. I learned that changing things is easier with a life coach than it is on my own. Sue listened and provided a space for me to talk and express things openly.” ~Terry I., CFO
